Jan 1, 2004 12:00 PM, AP staff

NAPL (Paramus, NJ) has published “Designer's Postpress Companion,” a reference tool for designers and production personnel on how to plan and execute an effective postpress strategy. Written by Malcom G. Keif, a graphic communication professor at California Polytechnic State University (San Luis Obispo, CA), the 176-page volume explains the significance of the postpress process to the overall quality of a print job and explores the many postpress options available. This final volume in NAPL's “Designer's Companion” series is available for $29.95 ($24.95 for NAPL members). A three-volume series, which includes the prepress and printing volumes, is available for $74.95 ($64.95 for members). To order, call (800) 642-6275, option 3, or visit napl.org/store.
