BRAUSSE GROUP will unveil at Print 01 its newest addition to its strong equipment line up in the converting industry - the heavy duty SBL-1050SEF-HPT Automatic Foil Stamping Machine with Diecutting and Stripping Capability. In addition to the outstanding features on the proven SBL-1050SEF, such as improved feeder head to handle various types of materials from 0.0039" to 0.078" (including recycled products), sheet slow down device on feed board to handle light weight paper and to double ensure registration at higher speed, tonnage gauge system which can be set at a pre-determined setting, computer controlled foil pulling unit, high torque servo motor for better accuracy at high stamping speed, inverter controlled foil rewind unit with unique dancing rollers to take up foil slack, … and many others, the HPT has a stronger frame and better insulation to develop 400 metric tons of pressure (440 US tons) and can heat up to 400°C(752°F). This enable the converters to handle a larger variety of stock and more complex combination of stamping and embossing. Max. sheet size is 29" × 41" and max. mechanical speed is 7,000 cycles/hour.

Introduced at Graph Expo 2000, the WINFOL prototype won praise from all the visitors to our booth. This machine not only allows converters or box makers to run a large variety boxes such as straight line, auto-bottom, CD jackets, 4- 6- corner boxes, double wall, Z-fold, record sleeve etc. with its outstanding features such as timed feed, timed glue pots, electronic glue system, servo motor driven back folding system and a lengthy list of many others, it also allows to run occasional window packaging jobs with folding and gluing all in one pass but without the cost of keeping a separate window patching machine. A reasonable speed of 10,000 per hour can be attained when running window with regular folding and gluing. Max. sheet width is 43".

Contrary to the above 3 machines, the popular BF750 Automatic Foil Stamping Machine is an old timer at many trade shows. It remains the workhorse for half size foil stamping and diecutting everywhere - small, medium and large converters. It includes reliable features such as servo motor driven 2 draw programmable foil puller, 4 zone heater with individual controller and 24-hour preheat timer. The BF750 recently received minor upgrade on electronic and safety. It comes with 2 versions — basic BF750E and upgrade BF750D with hologram device. Max. sheet size 22" × 29", max. mechanical speed 2,500 cycles/hour.

Linked with the automatic diecutting and creasing machine SBL1050SE, the new inline technology from BRAUSSE - BSP-40 Strip N Pak eliminates the hand stripping bottleneck in many converting plants. The machine can be set up in 10 to 15 minutes, no need for dies. Five minutes after the diecutter shuts off, stripped product is at the folder gluer for subsequent processing or in a box ready for shipment. As an added benefit, consistently stripped material allows folder-gluers achieve higher quality production. Originally designed for the blister card industry, the BSF-40 is now re-designed to run folding cartons and irregular shaped cards. It comes in 2 sizes - 40" and 50".
