Sherri Buxton is one of the most successful Coldwell Banker Realtors in North Carolina, consistently listed among the top 2% of agents nationwide. Knowing what it takes to stand out in a competitive environment, she understood she had to increase branding efforts and create a look that was exclusively her own to take sales to the next level. Hardly a month goes by without an ecology minded group promoting a new green incentive. Kermit the Frog would be proud. My somewhat simplistic advice is for Patrick Donahoe to stay on the course he's set: customer focus, business development and a leaner operation. Also, get the USPS into a more proactive stance on public and legislative issues. Be more out-front with its own story about what it needs to do, or needs from Congress. The agency has a long history of silence and that does it a disservice when so many
President Obama has sworn in William J. Boarman as the 26th Public Printer of the United States. Boarman will serve as CEO of the U.S. Government Printing Office (GPO), leading more than 2,300 employees. This is a homecoming of sorts, as I began my career at GPO in the 1970s, says Boarman. As of May 2011, mailers need to use the Intelligent Mail barcode (IMb) with either Full Service or Basic options to be eligible for automation discounts on letter-size and flat-size mail pieces. Although the USPS will still accept mail printed with POSTNET barcodes, mail printed with POSTNET barcodes will be ineligible for automation discounts.
